Bashful

Filed as a white, though the cool teal-gray is what you will notice once it is on four walls. 1237-1 in the PPG range.

At 3.5 on the chroma scale, this is closer to grey than to color, though the cool teal-gray keeps it from being either. With an LRV of 83.0, this bounces light into every corner of a room, which is exactly why whites get used in small or dark spaces.

This is one of the whites where the sample-in-the-room advice actually matters: the cool teal-gray shifts noticeably between a north wall and a south one. It works well on ceilings and for brightening an entire room.

A satin finish works in high-traffic rooms like kitchens or bathrooms without making the white look plastic-y, so long as the wall surface is even.

If the brand is not fixed, Valspar Fluffy Slippers (7004-5) is the same color by measurement - delta-E 0.35. 7 other-brand colors land within delta-E 2 of this one - a well-populated part of the spectrum with several near-equivalents to choose from.

It is lighter than 96 percent of the PPG range. The name is not unique: Benjamin Moore 1171 and Dunn-Edwards DE5000 also sell a color called Bashful, and it is not the same shade. PPG lists it in the 1000 series, alongside 1,736 other colors.
